- Since BBX is a liquid, if you apply it to a rough surface, it will spread over the uneven texture, ensuring an effective application area.
- However, if you apply the adhesive to a smooth surface and then bond it to a rough surface after curing, the BBX will not spread enough over the uneven texture, compared to when the adhesive is in a liquid state, because the adhesive surface after curing reacts to become a semisolid adhesive surface (like the surface of double-sided tape).
- However, since BBX does not use a base material like tape and the pressure-sensitive adhesive forms an elastic layer, if you use a thick adhesive, you can expect to increase the effective contact area compared to general tape, achieving a greater adhesive force.
